Cotton carrier bags

Due to growing public awareness of the need to conserve natural resources, cotton carrier bags are again gaining increasing importance as transport utensils.
Cotton carrier bags are manufactured from the same cotton as clothing. The fibres of cotton are obtained from the tufts of the fruits of the cotton plant, and are generally spun into thin threads. The fabric structure is determined by adjusting the threads running lengthwise (warp) and the crosswise threads (weft).
In order to ensure that our cotton carrier bags are free of harmful substances and meet the same requirements as textile clothing in terms of skin compatibility and washability, we have our cotton carrier bags examined by the Hohenstein Institute and certified to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100/II on a regular basis.
COMCOPLAST offers both unprinted and custom-printed options that comply with this standard, in a wide variety of sizes and designs.
We have added cotton carrier bags made of organic cotton (GOTS) and/or Fairtrade cotton to our range.
Should you decide to purchase our cotton carrier bags, you can choose options under the following parameters:
- cotton type (eco, Oeko-Tex, Fairtrade, organic)
- fabric structure (yarn count, warp/weft)
- with or without a bottom gusset / side gusset
- length and width
- print colours and print area
- number and size of loops
- hang tags and/or adhesive labels
